Richard Simon Friend

Founder, Ricardo Amigo Real Estate

Rich is originally from Fort Lee, NJ just outside of New York City. He left the east coast after teaching and coaching there for four years in search of a different lifestyle and, for a while, found it in the mountains of Colorado where he worked in the property management, hospitality industry, and coached high school football and wrestling for seven years. In 2001, Rich found himself in love with Todos Santos and bought some property in the area. He then opened a restaurant/cantina/furniture store called Dos Ricardos and started investing in real estate. He immediately noticed that many of his restaurant clients were interested in purchasing property in the area and this was the impetous of the real estate company. Since then, Rich has built a vibrant real estate company that operates under his unique and deeply personal approach to life.

Perla Garnica Duarte

Office Manager/Sales Agent

Perla was born in La Paz, BCS. Before moving to Todos Santos, she lived in Los Cabos for over 5 years, working in the tourism industry as an operational manager in some of the top hotels of Los Cabos. Her love for the arts and her curiosity to know what was so special about this magical town called Todos Santos that everyone was talking about in Cabo, made her move here in February 2006. She joined the Ricardo Amigo team soon after. She started as the Office Manager and since November 2008, she has become one of the Sales Representatives for the company. She quickly adopted to her new environment and she is now an integral part of both Ricardo Amigo Real Estate and this lovely community.

Lic. Manuel Humberto Frias Orozco

Lawyer/Closing Specialist

Manuel was born in Todos Santos, Mexico and was educated in near by La Paz. While attending law school, Manuel worked in his father's mechanic shop to pay his tuition. After graduating law school, Manuel came to work directly with Ricardo Amigo Real Estate. He has enjoyed the challenges of building a career around real estate transactions, international trusts and corporate development. He is a full time lawyer, part time race car driver and recently been married. We would not be surprised if Manuel winds up to be governor of Baja California Sur.

Iris Frias

Administrative Assistant

Iris, a long-time resident of Todos Santos, is a young and responsible person who hopes to contribute much to Ricardo Amigo Real Estate. It is important to her to promote physical and mental health to transmit harmony in herself and those around her. She is not a conformist. She has a degree in commerce and an interest in working in an environment that respects people and their individual needs and space. She has found this environment at Ricardo Amigo Real Estate, where there is a commitment to the balance of life, work, fun and health.

Bill Friend

Property Admin/Rentals/Sales Agent

Bill is from Fort Lee, N.J. Before coming down to Todos Santos, Bill attended NJCU, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education as well as two Masters of Arts degrees in Education and Administration. Bill taught for eight years as well as coached wrestling for many years before deciding to move down to Todos Santos permanently to join his brother Rich in the business. He enjoys the beach, the local cuisine and the laid back culture that Mexico offers. He is happy to be the newest addition to the Ricardo Amigo Team.

Lidia Moreno

Sales Agent

Lidia Moreno has been working in Real Estate for ten years. She was born and raised in Plutarco Elias Calles, a small community south of Todos Santos.

Lidia is proud to be part of the Ricardo Amigo Real Estate team. Her job is giving her the opportunity to share with friends and clients the wonderful experience to live in Baja, especially in the Todos Santos area and be able to show clients that it is the best place to invest.

Julie O'Neill

Sales Agent

Julie O'Neill was born and raised in Newport Beach California,

Graduated College with a Business Degree joined Caldwell Banker Realty in 1998 selling over 6 million her first 12 months and was awarded top 10% for the area of all sales for Caldwell Banker she was highly recognized by peers and was approached by Re/MAX Real Estate to become apart of their sales team and soon after became a member of the Top 100% Club with a highest sales revenue nation wide.

Julie stayed with Re/Max for 8 more years before she was offered a position to come to Cabo San Lucas Baja, Mexico and open the first office for A.Paraiso Realty in the historical little town called Todos Santos just north of Cabo where she worked 3.5 years selling over $4.5 million dollars in her first 2 years in a market starting to spiral down.

Julie wanted to branch out after 4 years from land sales to homes, villas and commercial properties so she approached one of the largest companies in Todos Santos and decided to joint venture with Ricardo Amigo Real Estate. With over 100 listings in his inventory and 3 offices she felt this was the best move to expand with her marketing tools and sales ability and start moving a wide range of inventory as the market starts to climb back slowly in Baja.

Julie resides full time in with her husband and they're expecting their first grandchild in the summer of 2011.
